So remind everyoneI am a case study in IF nowmet with RE back on 12/17 that was follow up for my HGS test after BNF on IVF #1. Tells me about having to go to the board of brains to decide the best treatment. Speaks in meeting Wed and should hear from her Thur. She goes on vacation 12/20 to be back 1/04. Never heard anything.
So gave the benefit of the doubt that maybe she meant the Weds and Thurs after she got back! So I gave it until today, call the office left a message. RN called back, she had spoken the RE and shed like me to come in 1/14 to discuss. THATS IT! THAT IS IT!!!
Now what if I hadnt called? I think Ive been very good lately, between this whole thing with the IF, and my Dads By-pass, and getting through the holidays tear free (still dont know how that one happened), the in-laws, etc. Am I now just straight back into the thick of IF hell. I mean they leave me with the thing hanging over me for weeks and I have to follow up I just dont get it! I do love my RE but sometimes even the best drop the ball and that is enough to drive you right over the edge!

I can totally relate!! Mine drove me absolutely nuts, TWICE I had to have him paged cause nobody called me about my protocol (finding out that night I was supposed to trigger!), 2nd time they didn't call me with my Beta results! Everything was well in the end and I didn't pursue it any further but as usual I've learned never to rely on someone to do what they say they're going to do. Good thing you were pro-active, keep doing that; it sure helped me out a couple of times. Best of luck to you!!

I think, that you should let your RE know about your displeasure. As emotional as we all get, it's really cruel, to not get back to you. Good luck.

I had a situation with my RE not sending my files to a new RE. Thank God I followed up!!! We have to stay on top of these people! I know they are only human but GEEZ, if this stuff was free then that would be a good excuse. Since we're paying A LOT of money, you would think they would be a little better at their jobs!

It just drives me insane the kind of money they are receiving from us. Of course if they gbet us pg, they are all angels but you knwo what we deal with enough stress. Can they just call us back and follow up with us for once? I am starting to lose my patience with my clinic. I loved them during all my IUIs. I was walked through everything step by step and I didn't have to worry about anything, except for my 4th IUI when the RE told me after u/s that I would need to go a few more days and the instructions I get from my nurse that night were to trigger and come in for IUI the next day. That was a fun night trying to figure out what the hell to do. I just wish that they woudl realize how we feel and how stressful this is for us. They deal with enough women in our situation. You would think they would get the point by now. Anyway, I am sorry that your place is giving you the run around. I would flip out on them by now!
