Allow yourself to grieve, but also try to reach out to people that can&will support you, see if there are any counselors in your area that deal with IF and/or pregnancy loss. You are grieving, this is all normal.

Oh goodness, honey I know. I know. The pain feels as though it is going to eat you up from the inside out. I have not personally had to endure your same heart ache, but have my share of my own and it is just too awful at times.

No words of mine will ever make what you are feeling go away or make sense of such a tragedy. If it were possible, know that I would do it for you.

Please, stay on here. Don't hide. I am trying not to hide either. Although I have not endured what you have, I am dealing with some bitter news and it feels like I am suffocating at times. We have to rely on those around us, even if it is "Sisters" on the computer.

It is completely normal to feel this way. I know that doesn't help at all but you are grieving and you have to let yourself feel these things. I agree with bsp.....you need support. After my loss, I joined a support group, I read lots of books, and met with a grief counselor. My husband did not understand even though he'd also experienced the loss, it just wasn't the same. Other women who'd been through it (loss & infertility) were lifesavers for me.

Give yourself time and let yourself grieve. Time is the best healer and I promise you won't always feel this pain.

The hormone crash after a d & c makes things twice as bad. It's basically post partum depression, but without a baby. You need to give yourself a week with no expectations, lying on the couch and allow yourself to cry and mood swing as much as possible. It's such an incredibly hard thing to go through. After a week or two it gets a little easier. And then once you get your period again it does get better hormonally, I promise. But you need to give yourself permission to grieve this loss in any way that you need to. I've been there. We're here for you.

Give yourself time to grieve. You just lost your baby. It is going to feel like your heart was ripped out of your chest for awhile. It does get easier I promise. I went through what you are going through almost a year ago now, and something that I wish I would have done then is found some support, either from a website like this or a counselor. Since I have started DS I have found the support network I needed a year ago, because these women know exactly what I am going through and what you are going through. No one else does. I am keeping you and your DH in my thoughts and prayers.

also, have you tried joining the miscarriage support group here at DS? Those women were a lifeline for me after my m/c's

I'm so sorry. I've suffered two miscarriages myself and it is one of the worst possible things to go through. Like you, I had a VERY tough time. But you DO need to just let yourself grieve in whatever way is best for you. I hope that those around you are letting you grieve and be simply depressed. I understand how much it hurts and how your walls have come crashing down around you..... Thinking of you.
