Kinda going through this with my husband. We have a 6 month old, I am almost 39 and my husband is 47. I don't want two in diapers at the same time so he will be 50ish if we have #2. He thinks that's too old, but I think it's just right. Being an older parent gives you a lot of advantages. You're settled, you're emotionally mature, etc etc. I hear from my sisters that while raising multiple children is a little more challenging at times, it's also easier than raising an only child because they have each other to play with. You don't need to be Janet Jackson! Twins might be a little challenging, though, maybe you don't want to transfer both at the same time!

If it is crossing your mind and you keep thinking about them, I say go for it. What is the other option? Sounds like you have a great attitude and that is what it takes! I would do it soon- sounds like you are in a good place- thaw those embies and see what happens.

By the way, my neighbor is 58 years old and a grandpa, and he was born when his mother was 44 :)

Hi, me2007! First, I'm so extremely happy for you, hun! You're in absolutely nice position - 2 healthy embryos are waiting for their rainbow :) If I were you I would definitely try for another baby! I'm 41 yo, recently have got pregnant via IVF with donor eggs in Ukrainian clinic. And this was the great luck for us to get success from the very 1st shot!! (Though being advised 2 shots program we booked 5 att. one as we really thought even 2 shots won't be enough!) I'm driving at deeply inside we were ready to spend another year or two, or three - no matter how long but to achieve our aim. And here I'm so happy for you have big chances with your nice embies.
Dear, I'm sure you're still young and full of strength. I know many women who gave birth to their babies between 47-51 yo. And this is fantastic. I wouldn't definitely miss the opportunity if I were you.
