I have heard a few ladies tell their stories on how their husband's results changing, but usually due to changes in diet, vitamins, habits, etc. For me, we are male factor, and my husband took a large amount of vitamins that were recommended by our RE and hugely limited alcohol (he's never smoked, but if he did, he would have quit that too). Our results with all of that is that he hasn't changed with motility, morphology and counts over a year, but, his sperm binding has improved significantly. (Binding was a rare problem that he has) Don't give up though, I know it's hard dealing with this. I'm sure you'll have some postings about things people say have helped.

I would think sperm production varies just like the females cycle of eggs per month. One month could be great, next month could be mot so great. Try to stay positive and take it one step at a time.

My DH has low motility, low sperm count and high abnormals due to 6 tumors. Last Sept and Oct the male reproductive specialist put him on high doses of vitamins and clomid to see how it worked. After a month or so he stopped the clomid cause it was causing the tumors to grow. What we did find out during the iui process was that his count was in normal range, and his motility was a 2 out of 5 . We did iui 3 months after the clomid drugs he took. They had told us that we needed IVF but we went against advice and tried iui. I am now 10 weeks pregnant as a result of Feb's iui cycle.

courage 2010, what is binding? I've never heard of this?

averydot, IUI is just like artificial insemination? That means that you didn't have to take any drugs to get your cycle going? Did they wash out the bad sperm as they did this procedure?
