I am going to start my second IVF cycle in January if all goes well. I have been taking CoQ10 and L-Argenine. I will know in February if these vitamins worked. I am turning 40 in December so my egg quality is not good . my first IVF cycle I had 5 Embryos but only 2 were implanted day 3. I started working out and eating right and taking vitamins in hopes on increasing my egg quality. When I went to the doctor a few weeks ago to check things out, my doctor said I had 8 follicles which were large. I am not taking any IVF medication. I want to think the vitamins are helping me. Did you start your second cycle yet?
Sorry that you are going through this. I've been a vegetarian all my life. I don't know if they also help egg quality though as I have not gone through any cycles yet. but recently I've been incorporating flax seed powder, seaweed (nori), avocado, quinoa, raw almonds and green tea in my diet. I don't drink coffee and I am trying to avoid tofu and soy products as I heard they may contain oestrogen. I have not been taking any other supplements but these changes seem to have helped with my painful periods as I now don't have unbearable pain.
