I’m new here.. because I must want some comfort and want to talk to someone who will understand me…without being judged by friends and family of why I’m still not pregnant when everyone else is. 


This is such a lonely battle eating you from inside and is still such an uncomfortable subject to talk about. I’m so tired it’s not your time yet, you’re not trying hard enough, don’t worry, don’t stress, don’t think about it…the usual things that people say who don’t understand. 


My family and friends all have babies now and some on second and third one already. Some people are so fertile and never struggle…a won’t understand the struggle. 



Why me? I always ask that. Why is? What did I ever do wrong? What did I do so bad to deserve this time? 



I feel like I’m losing friends and family because of the judgment. Also because I don’t want to be surrounded by their baby nor talk about them every time we meet. 



I feel horrible but I continue to manifest and give positive affirmations to myself but I don’t know how long I can keep going acting like I’m a hard shell. My feelings are so dull now…

I feel exactly the same way, in fact I am in the doctor's waiting room now. I tried naturally for 6 years, one IUI, and now on my third IVF. I'm feeling desperate because my insurance will only cover 3 cycles so it feels now or never. I've been finding some solace in reading Stoic philosophy, , I. particular, Ward Farnsworths book called The Practicing Stoic. It is similar to the Buddhism thought of ending suffering by non-attachment. I gets too tough because we have all of these expectations since we ourselves were children that we will have "the life we planned for." Hope this will help subside the tears. try not to let your happiness depend on. things outside of your control. trying is a start.

I do need another state of mind to deal with this for sure…I don’t know how to approach friends with kids without talking about their babies all the time…
You’re so lucky ivf is covered through insurance…infertility is not covered through mine so I don’t know how to try to pay $12k for one cycle of ivf :( I also had a failed IUI which was $1,500…

Hi, I am sorry to know your story. However, focusing on questions you will never find answers, in my opinion, won't change anything in your life. Prepare you mind and body, change your lifestyle, etc to boost your chances to get pregnant- that is stuff you can impact and improve. Read books, magazines, or websites (e.g. fertilityroad publish awesome articles by top IVF experts free on their website), to know what you can expect, and in the meantime you will meet new friends who are in the same boat and can support you.

I agree. It is really hard to see pregnant women and women with babies and young children. I try to avoid them at all costs. Not sure what else can be done about it. I did recently start to remind myself that you can see some stupid woman with her baby in a carriage but you cannot see all the women who are passing by who have had to go through or are going through IVF or IUI or whatever. You also cannot know how difficult it was for some of these women with their little babies to conceive. Maybe the woman at the grocery store in like by you is doing IVF. Maybe the woman who just pushed her stupid stroller by you went through 7 rounds of IVF. We cannot know everyone’s story. It’s a little helpful for me to remind myself of that.
