26 and infertile

When I was 18 I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis after having surgery.I also have pcos.i'm now 26....and 4 weeks ago I had another surgery for the endometriosis and two very large endometriomas that had grown back on my left ovary.come to find out,my left ovary and fallopian tube was completely destroyed.my left fallopian tube had actually broken off and is no longer connected to my ovary.and the tissue from my ovary and tube is dead.both tubes are 100% blocked now with endo tissue and wasn't able to be fixed.I was told that there is absolutely no way I will ever be able to have kids on my own.ivf is still an option though. When I found out I broke down and cried.my doctor even cried with me.me and my husband had been talking about wanting kids soon and then found out this news.it's devastating.I really wanted some advice and info about Ivf and if anyone as bad off as me was able to still go through ivf and successfully get pregnant.

The way is difficult to go through, but hope is never wasted...

Jessinwonderland, I really can't imagine what you are going through so sorry to hear you are experiencing so many struggles. I know how it feels to be so young with the future seeming to bleak. That is really great that IVF is still an option though! This means there is hope of having babies of your own and that is exciting! Trust me, we are in a similar boat and are having conversations I never dreamed of having (sperm donation). It's all very scary I know.

It's okay to cry and it's okay to be honest with your feelings. Lean on the people that can handle it. .

Hi there. Sorry for your news. I found out at 17 that I could not have kids. I’m 29 now. My ovaries never developed. So I understand how you feel and what you’re going through. I can still carry so my husband and I are doing Ivf with an egg donor. The child will biologically be mine. It is only linked to the donor genetically. My body decides which genes to turn on and off. If you want to have a baby look into egg donation. You will love that child more than anything because you worked so hard for it. Best of luck.
