I did an HPT after I have recieved 3 high beta's because I just wanted to see what a positive HPT looked like, but even then the line was super faint. I probably would have thought the worst if I had HPT'd before my beta. If you can wait until your blood work, I would suggest it. If it will make you feel better, go ahead and do it sometime next week, but don't go crazy if it's negative. I know lots of women on here that got negative HPT but were actually pregnant.
