I recently decided to stop trying but of course there are the daily reminders such as babies,people asking when you will children etc.
So I have been trying to put my mind on others things and block out my "childless-life " lol.
As I said before clearly something does not want me to forget or I am being tested cuz it ridiculous.In the last two weeks I have become even more more frustrated. Look at these examples:

1) My cousin named her son the names I had planned for my "sons" .Used the names as first and middle name for her son .And it irritates me whenever she calls him ( I know its silly but it hurts).

2) My forty something co-worker give birth to her son.

3) My friend told me that she is pregnant (I could deal with this part) but she is going to have an abortion (WTF) and she knows I had been TTC.
And constantly is asking me for advice or telling me when she plans to get rid of "it" .Geez.


Just needed to vent cuz I have no one really to tell about these feelings.

hmmmmm well hopefully its a phase but I hope it ends soon lol cuz another friend emails me today with "Guess what I am due anytime"

As I've explained to people in the group who are still trying to have a child: infertility does not end just because you walk away from notion of becoming pregnant. Infertility is very much a struggle for those of us in the "Life After" stage. My prayers for all of us (including myself) who are in this place.

Wow! That stinks! Sounds like you may need to chat with your "friend" having the abortion or keep some distance for a while. I hope you can find this time healing and help you gain strength to try again in the future. Sending you love and BIG hugs!

I'm so sorry to hear your journey has brought you to this point. I can't imagine, but I can appreciate the sense of loss you must be experiencing. I keep telling DH if this doesn't work, we are getting many more fur babies. My chocolate lab does wonders as far as pet therapy goes :) good luck to you. I hope you find peace in all of this.

I agree cyclone1544....my bulldog came into my life 11 days after my Grandma passed away, whom I was very close to. On some of my gloomiest days he gives me that unconditional love and puts a smile on my face :-). My DH and I already know we will get another, he is our baby!

Sorry to hear that you are going through a hard time. I have gone through everything you have gone through. Its so tough. My bff had an abortion and would call me all the time to complain about it and she knows im going through IF...finally I let her have it and it felt great. After it was all said and done she apologized to me. Things will get better. Keep you head up!!!

And I am trying to distance myself from the friend who is having the abortion on Wednesday to make things easier.
