Some of the best advice I got from a couple of people who have been on the IF path for a while is to stick to IF-specific social networks and to really limit the amount of personal time you're online in general.
At first it was a bit hard to get rid of my fb, but once I did get rid of it, I actually got much more JOY back in my life. And even on tough days, if I cheered up, I found it easier to *maintain* that cheered up feeling. I certainly didn't have that when I was on fb and sites like it. If you can't completely rid yourself of it, it might help to steer clear of logging in to that when/if you're taking IF treatments.
Also-- there's really good advice and tips from two specific books that get me through situations like that:
"Conquering Infertility" by Dr. Alice Domar
and the very funny "Conception Chronicles" by Patty Doyle Debano et. al.
Big Leap Year hug for you, my dear.
This is one of the main reasons I'm diving into my Spring Cleaning with the last shred of energy and sheer will that I have in me....
I'm doing a lot of reading on the things that I must be doing to keep myself afloat, when the flood of emotions rush in. There's so much we can do as individuals and here, together, to get us through this storm.
