I went for my Beta this morning. I had the cell phone by my side all day, no call, so I checked my messages on my ans machine as I drove home and there was a message from my re: "blah blah blah, NEGATIVE, sorry we couldn't reach you on your cell phone, blah blah blah stop the progesterone suppositories, you should get your period in 3 days." I cried all the way home, my 5 year old kept asking "what's wrong mommy, why are you sad?" My heart is breaking, for my husband and I, for my beautiful son who may never get a sibling. . . and I see women (and girls unfortunately) all over the place getting pregnant, why not me?!! I know I should be grateful for the one I have, and I am, but is it too much to ask to want another? Why is this so damn hard? This was my 3rd IUI on top of almost 4 years ttc, and I am just tired . . .

Thanks for giving me a forum to cry and complain . . .

I'm so sorry. It really isn't fair that we all have to work so hard. We all see others around us all the time that really have no business whatsoever reproducing. It really makes you wonder what God is thinking about.

I am so sorry. There's no reason why you shouldn't be both happy with the one you have and sad that you cannot have more now. I hope things work out soon for you.

I am so sorry sweetie. I am going through the exact same thing right now. My beta is tomorrow and I know it is negative. It is so depressing. Hang in there.

I am so sorry. Being sad for the child you want and are having a hard time having does not mean you are not grateful for you son. I really hope you get the opportunity to give him a sibling. Sending baby dust your way!

Just want to thank everyone for their kind words, it has helped immensely to read all this encouragement. I was just cleaning up the kitchen counter tonight and found a "card" my son made me today, he knew I was sad and he left it on the counter for me before he went to bed. Just a folded piece of paper, blank on the front, inside had two sad faces, and on the back it said "I Love You". This is why I love him so much, why all of you ladies deserve to have and should have this kind of unconditional love, and why I want MORE MORE MORE! Ugh, now I have to get out of this funk and look ahead, but I just feel like I need a day or two of self pity. Thanks again to everyone!

I'm sorry you're going through this. I can relate to you as well. It's been 2 years of ttc, lots of if treatments and one early miscarriage and still no baby. I get the feeling sometimes that everyone is able to get pg but me. I hope you find the peace you need to cope and the courage and faith to keep trying. My prayers are with you. Good luck.

Awwww sweetie...I'm so very sorry! I know the dreaded BFN is so hard month after month!

I keep seeing pregnant ladies that are SMOKING!!! And I get so upset...thinking OMG...are you CRAZY!

It will happen though...I know it's frustrating, but know that one day God will grant you the baby you and your family deserve!
