Hi everyone! I'm new to this website and am hoping that talking to all of you will help me on this journey. My husband and I have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility. We will be starting IVF next month (just the drugs part). I'm not sure what to expect but I thought I would join in advance because going through IUIs alone were hard! When I say alone I mean that my husband was with me, but I try not to burden him since he is just as upset about this as I am. I try not to talk about it with other people because I don't want them to feel sorry for me. I hope that this site can give me some people to talk to.
Thank you.
Thank you.

You have totally found the right place. This is an awesome site fill of IF ladies who have lots of experience, tips, and advice. IVF is not easy of if you have unexplained IF then it is going to give you your best odds. I was able to have my son because of IVF and I am so thankful for all the support I received from the ladies on this site while I was struggling to conceive. Welcome to the group!

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the support. I wish there was an actual support group nearby (I live in VA). I just started the IVF (birth control for the next two weeks). I'm nervous but hopeful.

Hi there and welcome! Have you checked to see if there is a support group in your area? I never knew there was one that met in my own backyard after struggling alone for 2 years. Try checking resolve's website. That's where I ultimately found it. To offer some encouragement, my husband and I have unexplained IF as well. Everything looks perfectly fine on paper, so we are just one big mystery. Anyway, I am currently 12w1d pregnant with our first babe after one round of IVF. Getting yourself in a routine when it comes time for shots is definitely what I found to be helpful. I had an alarm set for the same time every night and blasted the same song each night while injecting. It makes me laugh/smile when the song comes on the radio and only my husband and I know why.

My husband and I are also diagnosed with unexplained fertility. Everything looks fine on the tests but from 2012 to now not 1 pregnancy. We are currently doing ivf. I am on day 9 of stimulation.
