Oh and Ang550, we had the SAME irritating questions when we conceived the third time! My husband would get more annoyed I think than I would, b/c people would automatically expect we had "kept trying" to "get that boy." OHHH, it drove us nuts! I knew I had married the right guy when my DH would shut people down by saying he was HOPING for another girl. He would respond when they would say something about him being such a huge sports fan that he fully intends to teach his girls to golf and play baseball, etc. And when we did find out it was a boy, it was after our OB/GYN gave me THE WRONG results from our amnio, saying the baby had a birth defect! The agony (only one of many sadly in that pregnancy) we felt until we got in touch with the Geneticist, who clarified the doc had given us the wrong results, was unbelievable (And yes, we immediately switched to a new OB!) So the gender was the least of our concerns...And we love him just the same as his two sisters, for being Tyler, not for being a boy!

thanks, yea i think people often talk before they think! We have 3 girls, and we love having 3 girls. it is what we know and they are ours. the number one person that says it to us is my DH's Aunt. I was floored how many times they said it when my sister in law was pregs too. She had one daughter already. And people in our family would say it infront of the girls! I would be like, EXCUSE ME HAVE YOU NO TACT? DO you think they cant hear you? You act like boys are worth more! It is so obnoxious.

and the other thing is,about having children and still wanting more...
even my own family says' well you have 3 already.' or 'well, you have your hands full already dont you?'

My DH and i are working on #2!! I would love to have 3!! but its not up to me its up to GOD...

We really want two so my son has a sibling to grow up with. I don't care whether boy or girl-just another healthy one.

My DH is youngest of 7, I am youngest of 3. We alays thought we'd stop at 4-5. I'm still certain that I will have 4 kids to call me Mommy, SOME HOW! But would love to have a spontanious BFP for 1 more this month! :O) ~Jan

I always thought that I only wanted two, but when my second was about 8 months old, both my husband and I decided that we *really* wanted to have another. I think if I were younger (I'm 41) and fertile enough, we'd have ended up with four. As it is, we are just hoping to have one more pregnancy. Ideally, we'd love to have twins (hopefully boy/girl, to go with our older boy and younger girl), but any healthy baby would be fantastic. We'd stop at three if we had a singleton.

My husband and I are both one of 3. I'm the oldest he's the youngest.
I always thought I'd have 3, and I do! We really want 2 more though. We are praying for god to give us twins.

I've decided that when I have this baby & after a year of breastfeeding and pumping as much as I can stand (in hopes of keeping the endometriosis away), I'm going to start trying for another. Because my husband does not want to do any more treatments, it may take a lot of years to get pregnant...but I want to try while I still have time. When my husband and I first got married, our plan was to have five. I am so happy to have one--and another on the way. I am content, but I do wonder if I will be able to have more. It's funny to think that when I wrote this discussion post I was already pregnant & didn't know it yet! Best baby wishes to all of you!

We have always wanted 4, but now that we are going through all of this we are saying 2 is fine. We would love twins so we would be in the middle, but I will take what God gives me and be happy.

I always wanted a houseful - however many God gave me! BUT, things don't always work out how we planned them! I had one sister growing up and always wished I had more siblings! Now I have one son who will be 16 this month and am sad he never had any siblings! If my husband has a reversal, I am hoping for at least two, if we get any!!
