"Secondary infertility" is difficulty conceiving after already having conceived and carried a normal pregnancy. Apart from various medical conditions (e.g. hormonal), this may come as a result of age and stress felt to provide a sibling for their first child.
just womdering how long it took everyone to get pregnant with baby #1?

About 8 months...not counting some months that we weren't really "trying", but also weren't trying to prevent.

got pregnant after one month ..but miscarried at 6 weeks..then took contraception pills as advised by Doc for 6 months..got pregnant 2 months later..:)my girl is 16 now and i am 37

Got pregnant right away with number 1, took 18 months for number 2 and a round of Clomid. Pregnant now with #2, thanks be to God!

we got lucky on the first try... working on #2 for about a year now.

Didn't try for the first one, wasn't planning on having one yet. 9 years later still trying for #2.
