I realize that I have sexual issues as a result of incest and sexual assault. Somehow fear/ attraction to men became hypersexuality. I started writing erotica to help me deal with these problems. I also want to put "clean" erotica out there- stories that only deal with consensual sex between adults.

My sexuality is mine and I want it to be as healthy as possible.

I don't see a reason not to write down your feelings about anything. It can be therapeutic, and perhaps some of your inner thoughts will come out. I'm glad you're also focusing on what you consider healthy sex, so you can create more pleasant experiences to help counter the memories of your traumas.

I've been writing erotic fiction for years and years. It does seem to help me somehow.

I think it's a good idea...and I like your idea of "clean" fiction...consenting adults only. I'm all for that...I really dislike fiction with rape or kidnapping in the story.

Seems like there's a lot of rape and brutality towards women in fiction these days...even on TV.

i don't write erotica, per se, but i do write highly graphic accounts of things which have happened to me and which i've done. it helps to get it out and has helped other people to read it and know they're not alone.

hi, it's a great idea and very brave thing to do.
i did this too, started a few years ago on a forum and from the storytelling i found a few friends who were also writers. they are still in touch as friends. the sharing that started with a creative storytelling (exploring, role playing) resulted in new friendships (web pen pals).

healing comes from many places, go with what feels right.
expression was not possible during abuse, and personally for me expression flows in my writing now that i am free to do it.

well done for your brave step!
