I wish you peace but not deadness. I'm not in misery all the time now and medication and therapy is helping. I went through many years of misery and it can get better with a lot of work. It's not fair, but being abused as a child causes lots of long term problems. You need to do things to keep yourself safe. Keep talking to others who understand and care and try to do good things for yourself that you enjoy. You deserve that.

I really feel that way too a lot.
do not off myself because i just can not do that.
But if there was a humane euthenasia for those who just had enough and have no family friends or anything.I'd be buying my ticket and first in line.

I feel that way so often. It is comforting to me to know that I am not the only one who feels that way. I have 3 kids and I feel so guilty that I want to kill myself-what would happen to them? But those feelings still don't go away. I feel like you do, I just want the pain to go away. I hope you feel a little better knowing you are not alone-but it does suck to feel this way-I agree.

Yeah i wish we could have an actual meeting and at least not feel so alone.

I have suicidal thoughts often but I know that is not what I want. I have almost as much problem with good feelings as well as painful feelings. I go to 2 Al-Anon groups. One is for adult children of alcoholics. I am not the only one there that was sexually abused. With 12 step groups you have to take what you like and leave the rest. That took me a while to get. I've been going to 12 step groups for a long time. It can be a very supporting resource.

I feel that so often. Occasionally I have been close to suicidal, but mostly it is this desire for nothing. As if a part of me wants to be dead. It's pretty normal and understandable. When you feel like this it is probably a cue for you to do something nice for yourself - not to make you 'snap out of it' but to sooth and comfort yourself, make it not so bad.

i was there last week and now i'm not soo much in that place. It's hard to explain how things can change. I'm still the same person with the same crappy family, i guess i stood back and saw i was wanting a mother to nurture me, i then realized if my mother was to try and give me a hug it would feel so wrong and phoney. So i decided to stop crying over my crappy mum and count the blessings that i have as friends. I'm very lucky to have three very good friends that i can txt when having a bad day. Try and spread the load and tell a friend your not so good. (((hugs)))
