It is heartbreaking, no doubt, and it is also a step towards freedom for men who not only carried the burden of abuse but who also felt they could not speak up about it...because men "didn't get sexually abused" and if they did it was not considered abuse but a "rite of passage" or some other fallacy.

The show was amazing. I felt sad and proud of those men who stepped up. In the end, we are ALL HUMANS who can be hurt.

I couldn't watch it all - to my horror I found myself automatically trying to minimise what these men had gone through which makes me realise I still haven't faced the horror of what I went through, and I don't think I want to.

thank you for this - breaking, didn't you refer to the quote that Oprah remembered from years ago on her show - forgiveness is giving up the hope that the past could have been any different.
