I feel like the unwanted child... like the freaken step child.. the black sheep... I feel so unloved and so alone and the one time i reach out to my family i get shut down...If only they knew how hard my life is and how i have to live with the fact that my sister has sexually abused me and my cousin raped me in their house...I don't get it ... my family is suppose to be there when none else is,,, who am i suppose to look to since they aren't...? I sit here crying at ropes end not knowing what to do with myself anymore :'(
Some families suck. You're not the only one - all of us on this site were unlucky enough to get born into shit families. I'm not saying this to diminish what you're going through, I just want you to know that it's not because of you your family behave like this. It's because of them. It's not our fault, its just bad luck.
We have to learn to look elsewhere for people who will support us. It's hard - how do we know who to trust - but it's the only alternative. One of the first thing we need to do is learn to look after ourselves and to trust ourselves.
Give yourself a hug. You need it. You deserve it. You are wonderful.

Breakingth.....is absolutely right, you were unlucky and you deserved much, much better treatment. Every child deserves love, care and protection - not the horrid reality which you seem to have been flung into.
Don't waste your time looking to these disfunctional people to be your helpers to get you out of the pain they put you in. There are bound to be some other courses of action. Church, State or Charity run groups who will be of much more use to you than your current crew.
Seeking it out will empower you also, I wouldn't even tell them - just do it for you. You are a young and vibrant soul, there is a better life waiting for you once you have begun to take control and heal.

How did they shut you down? Did they just not want to hear it? If thats the case...make them hear. Dont let them tuck you away, or sweep your pain under the rug.
