I saw my therapist today and we talked about the sexual abuse by a neighbor when I had just reached puberty. She said that was rape and we talked about the shame, guilt and the humiliation I feel. That was my first actual sexual experience. This was done with my mother and other neighbors in the room and they all were laughing about it.
This is going to take me awhile to process, but it does explain a lot about my sexuality. I can talk about it here because this is anonymous, but it feelt very embarrassing talking to someone face to face about it.
