I am not considered the main victim of my uncle. My brother's whole life is about that his life was ruined and he always needs mom to bail him out. My brother bullied me and doesn't really feel too much remorse. he said he was sorry about "not being a good brother" like he'd accidentally used my toothbrush. He doesn't understand remorse. mom says she has to keep giving him money. she borrowed $5 from me without telling me it was to give to him for food.
i can't talk to my mother about my uncle. she is irrational, rude, and insensitive. I end up yelling at her when she talks about my brother and uncle. I am so tired of this stuff. I don't understand why what happened to my brother was a big deal and why what happened to me was just my uncle "letting off steam" because he was upset that my grandmother died. I haven't even told her about the other stuff he did to me as a kid.
I also feel that my sexual issues are not taken seriously because I don't look like Megan Fox or something. a counselor told me that that wasn't really my problem, my "real" problem was my weight. well, I've lost 60 lbs. now and still have the same feelings, am I allowed to have sexual issues now that I'm a size 10??

You managed to lose 60lbs! That is really impressive. I hope you're proud of your achievement.
- two, that counselor is full of crap, because you know what? You were sexy then. You are sexy now. Being confident in your attractiveness only has a smidge to do with size, it's about 95% attitude.
- three, the counselor has no right to decide what is on your healing agenda, you decide what you're ready and willing to work on. The counselor can advocate for things to work on, but you hold ultimate control. If this isn't the case, fire that counselor.
- four, you have a right to respect. Your mom and brother do not respect you. If you are stuck living with or around them due to financial reasons, keep your head down, get outside support, and work on an escape plan.
