Today my "father" checked me out as we all piled into the car to go to the mall to get my sisters new iPod... He looked me over and then stated: "you have some bones sticking out" and pointed at my boobs. (note: I'm wearing a skeleton shirt...) I just ignored him as he smiled at his stupid comment. Later this evening I bought myself some ice cream. My father wanted some so I gave him a bite.... He put spit all over my spoon and watched me eat it! *shudder* He is getting worse again.... :,(
Be strong and don't let him manipulate you, stay safe. All my love and strength goes to you in the knowledge that this too shall pass. Acknowledge your feelings and allow yourself to feel them. Let them in and sit with them for a while. I held mine in and now at 42 am allowing myself to acknowledge the fact that my teenage years was pure hell. Be gentle on yourself and know you will be able to leave one day
