He should have someone not believe him and see how he does with that.

I wish you hadn't sliced your arm, but I am not judging you. I understand getting to that point of desperation, despair and hopelessness to feel the need to self injure. Especially when you just want someone to understand how hard it is for you sometimes, and how much pain you're in.

It isn't fair that he reacted the way he did. You deserve much more than that. It sucks, what he did, but at the end of the day, just remember that you did all you could considering the circumstances, which is more than some could say if they had to face the obstacles you do!

Thanks. Well it's off to therapy then work. I'm not going to bring my laptop home tonight. It's supposed to snow tonight and if I can't get in, I won't be able to do any work. Why should I bother if I'm not believed. I still feel self destructive.

Even tho' I have spent many years kicking my own ass for everything and anything someone else has done to me. , I try to remember that I don't have to do that as there seems to be a whole world that will do that for me.
Sometimes other people don't understand us because they don't know where we have been and where we have come from.
Unfortunately, everybody who lives long enough will experience tragedy. Sounds like your boss has not lived long enough yet.

That was my thought - what's his (your boss') problem? You know you worked, he's being an arsehole. (Unfortunately there's no law against being an arsehole).
