Call your Congress-Critter about this! Write an open letter to the editor of every local paper in Massachusetts too, see how many other people you can get outraged, see how many others are getting screwed with by your insurer.
You PAY for their service. They should not be able to get away with making you a victim like this easily!

I've been fighting them now for 6 months and this is the best they could do according to therm. I am going to call a lawyer Monday but he said he could only do something if they refused service. I'm now getting physically sick every day because of this stress.

I think you should call them twice or three times for every prescription, call them to ask if you've spelled their name right, call them to ask if you can walk out the door to buy the meds, call them, call them, call them. Call them to make sure you've understood that you have to call them. Call them for absolutely everything so they get to realise how stupid it is.

I needed to call the doctor yesterday, but I didn't know if I could. He is out of the office till Monday. I left him a voice mail to send me an email with the rules I have to follow, then I will show it to a lawyer. Right now I'm surviving on Ativan. I feel very suicidal and can't help cutting.

What they are doing to you is so wrong it makes me sick! Keep writing about it, listen to some music, call a friend. Please reach out to do positive things for you until you can get some help.

I'm not sure what state you are in but i know here in Florida you could write to a place called Health that handles stuff like that.....In the other state also there was Regulated Industries Dep of Consumer Affairs they were very,very helpful.....

Thanks dragonfly and unomas. I have contacted Health Law Advocates in Boston, MA. I live very close to Boston. The last time I talked to them things were still up in the air, now I know what the current "rules" are. I've been in the hospital for a few days because of all the stress and they gave me 2 prescriptions. In order to get them filled I have to call this one person at my insurance, who I can't stand, between 9 AM and 5 PM Monday through Friday. They tell me they cannot pay my pdoc and that other doctors will be covered. I've herd them say everything was all straightened out before, but they just lie. Anyway, I will have to wait till Monday before I can call him, then he may get back to me in a few days and give me permission to have them filled. I'm going to call the lawyer back Monday also. I think they want to force me to take disability so they don't have to pay anymore. I'm stress out to more than I can take. On top of the mental issues I also have heart disease, kidney disease, diabetes and 2 amputations. I like what I do for a profession, but they are making it impossible for me to concentrate on my work.
