I'm Carly, i was raped for 3 years by my brother, i was to scared to tell anyone because i thought i'd get in trouble, my mom finally caught him doing it, its been total hell for me :( I dont have anyone to talk to that understands what im going threw and did go threw. One book that was a great help to me was written by Matt Atkinson and is called Resurrection After Rape.
If you are in therapy, and I hope you are, maybe you can work through this book, that has writing exercises in it, with your therapist.
Rape and sexual abuse trauma does not just disappear. You have to work through your fears and anger and anything else you felt while being abused.
It's hard work, but you can do it.
