just some random thoughts

i hate them all

i must be in control
I must be able to control this life that i have

i didn't have any control while i was growing up
i must have control....now...NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they are taking my control away from me
it has to stop

i don't ask for much...
some kindness
a clean house
a response
acknowledgement

i don't want to be selfish
BUT
i must be able to control my life

if i share something from my past with you....
don't ignore me......when you see me

i shouldn't have said anything to anyone.

just keep my secret and stay invisible

AWE....to be invisible again....

i want to fly away

i hate people

i am not asking anyone for anything again

i want nothing from anyone

It sounds like something hurtful has happened or is happening recently. Please feel free to share about it or rant about it here. What you are feeling, I've been there ... probably most or all of us have.

Most of the people who come here have had the courage to tell, even if it is to this group. When you say you shouldn't have told, I guess you are regretting how you were treated for telling. You couldn't have known and you did it to try to heal. It's normal to want an apology and the chance of that happening without the abuse being revealed is very small. You had courage and you are dealing with cruelty and cowardice.
Be gentle on yourself.

I like your rant.....I relate I feel hate that could burn a city for all the injustice I experience as a child and then as an adult because I did not understand why I felt the way I did until many years later recently when I was dx with PTSD and major depression as a result of child abuse and neglect...

Thanks for the replies. I am feeling better. Donnawanda I did have something happen...I start exploring my feelings of self-hate. I was tore up for a week...right now I am just not thinking about it to give my eyes a break.

Pumpkin you guessed right..I told someone and now they are ignoring me...like I have the plague or something...it made me feel terrible.

Tusitalo. I am just like you in what you said. I made a lot of mistakes because I didn't know what was going on in my head. I was dx with PTSD one year ago. I have been working on stuff ever since.

I completely relate to the hate. I suffer from it horribly now and then. But I would say that if your friend couldn't hack hearing it; give it a week, and then just joke about something else. They probably took a few days to get over it, and need it to 'all blow over' and mean that their relationship with you hasn't changed.

People don't know what to do. The really genuine friends I think just go into a tailspin and don't know what to do next. :D Just produce a joke, or invite them to the movies, or something. And if they don't respond to that you know they were never going to pan out as much of a friend anyway.

I've told a few people over the years. The best results were the ones who ignored it, sad but true. Just carried on the next day like I'd never said anything.
