Well last week I had one of my last sessions with my therapist who is a intern. We said short goodbyes beacuse thought I would be back working with her and new intern.We have been trying to get me in with a full time therapist who is trained in sexual abuse and PTSD. Well Thursday night I got the call and she can see me next Thursday. So happy!!! So I called my therapist was very cold like what ever. It really hurt, she had agreed I need to get in with some one permanent not keep changing interns ever 9 months. It felt like I am done with you goodbye.
On top of that my Grandma is dying. She is 93 years old and has no memory of anything, Twenty years ago she stated in her living will she does not want to be living on a feeding tube or given CPR. She is melting away. In one month she lost almost 24 pds. They only give her weeks to live. I am so sad, growing up my Grandmother wasn't around alot but as I got older we reall bonded.

So on Thursday I get to tell my story again which I hate and and worry about my Grandma. My poor Mother is the oldest of five she is struggling to be strong but I can see it in her face.

Your old intern still has a lot to learn hasn't she?
I'm really sorry to hear about your Grandma. None of my family do 'close' so it's hard for me to imagine what it's like to lose a real person you are close to, but my thoughts are with you.
Have you thought about using the first session with your new therapist to talk about your Grandma and your mum. It sounds like you need to talk about them now and then you can get to know her a bit before you have to start your life story over?
Take care of yourself through this emotionally chaotic time.
