My brother and his friend were my first abusers.
The other night I had a dream that I was still living at my parents house and I had been out and returned to find all the things in my bedroom had been removed. My brother was standing there with a friend and I demanded to know what he did with my things. I began searching and found he had thrown everything in the closet. I told him he had no right. He said it didn't matter what I thought and I was stupid anyway. Ultimately i ended up pulling out a bow and arrow and shooting him through the heart.
A few years back I had a dream I turned into a big dog and ripped his throat out then ran through the forest feeling joyous and powerful.
If I can have those dreams why in my waking hours do I feel nothing. I even feel sorry for my brother because he always had impulse control problems. I feel nothing about his friend

It is like the anger is buried deep and for some reason I can't bring it to the surface and direct it where it needs to be. Instead i get angry at people who don't deserve it or I turn it inward...at least that is what my therapist says.
If you did that in waking life - you'd go to jail!
