my uncle attacked in '95. I had gone to be alone in my grandmother's bedroom after she had recently died, he followed me and he started out acting like he was trying to comfort me, but then he looked angry and grabbed my arm and started touching me until I was able to pull away, and then he yanked one of my breasts down very hard.
I thought I would be okay and didn't tell anyone because I knew the family was stressed that he was going to prison for child molesting and my grandmother had just died.
I've had two breakdowns that begin with having unwanted sexual images in my head about someone I know and is good looking, but also that I know doesn't want to date me. this has happened twice in my life and makes no sense. the first time I wrote a classmate 4 notes, sat near him, and kind of twirled my hair. he complained to a teacher and I left the school.
the second time, I came on to my husband's friend and he pretty much had nothing else to do with me after that.
I don't know what this means or why it happens. I just don't want to repeat it.

I have never met a single person who was abused that did not have unwanted sexual images in thier head. When I am under a lot of stress it gets worse.
Time doesn't cure all but it helps. I was a prostutute but now I could not imagine ever doing that again. Time took care of it.
I'm just now coming out of this "stupor" and I'm facing what happened to me as a child (my dad was a pedophile). I'm now in intese PTSD therapy.
So in a way, I was lucky. Even though my actions have resulted in severe emotional pain- I'm on my way to recovery as a result.
Hang in there and stop worrying about your breakdowns. As with me, I have a feeling that you'll eventually understand that they're nothing more than part of the process of recovery.
All it takes anyone is one small thing to happen as a child and your sexuality is altered forever. Once again it means you are a human.
I worked as a transsexual dominatrix for several years. I once had a client who came in with a brief case full of rolls of electrical tape. He spent the entire hour talking about electrical tape and all its "wonderful" qualities and even off brand uses.
I had another client who wanted tied to a chair and for me to throw box after box of Jean Nate' after bath dusting powder in his face while calling him a "filthy snow queen". I had to know so asked how he got into that. He said when he was a kid his aunt gave him a bath and used Jean Nate' after bath powder on him. That was all it took to create a life long fetish.
The point is that people who went through way less than we did came out of it with life long obsessions. Please don't beat yourself up over yours.
