When my sugar gets low I get loopy and don't realize whats going on. I don't know to test, or eat, I just try to keep going which is NOT right. So when I'm having a problem I set the alarm on my phone for every 2 hours so I remember to test frequently. Maybe that would help, some sort of reminder to check until Tuesday?
Stirring up old trauma causes a lot of old fear and anxiety to come up. Whatever stress busters or ways to relax when panicked that you use, start doubling it. If you dont HAVE any favorite grounding exercises or thought stoppers, FIND SOME and if you have no idea what I mean, message me.
Best of luck, we have 2 problems in common so I'm automatically on your side and willing to help ;)

At least you can tell when your sugar is low. I can't. I was driving one day and decided to test and I was at 44. I was functioning just fine which is really scary. And my insurance will only pay for enough strips to test 3 times a day. And since this stuff started coming up, I am testing almost 10 times a day. :( Some days I HATE insurance.
I agree with PrestoEndo. The depression and anxiety that comes with the abuse is a struggle in its own. To battle that and the physical ailments that accompany that is more of a tornado or a hurricane in that everything encircles the other without finding anything to grasp.
It's frustrating!! And sometimes words cannot describe the experiences I go through in any given moment of everyday. Where the medication sometimes doesn't fix or help with the aches and pains I feel everyday.
It sucks!! Thank you to everyone who understands and knows what we go through everyday.
