I just want to thank this support group for putting up with me and my posts! I really feel the discussion is helpful. I have not been doing very well, but I feel more clarity these days.

dsf95- All posts are helpful. Some people are shy, and some shoot from the hip. Some people are succinct. Some a bit wordy (pointing finger at self). We all express differently. You're doing great, and are a valuable part of discussions :-)

I agree with Whistleblower (as I almost always do!) and thank you for adding to our discussion. It always helps me to see other people talk about things I have been through and have a lot of shame around.

It really helps me when people post about their struggles here. Ordinarily I don't want to think about these memories and the problems that stem from them. But when someone posts about their troubles, it helps me deal with my own problems.

If I just repress it all, as I've done most of my life, I get self-destructive.

So I appreciate it when someone chooses to share. It encourages me to do the same...which for me is never easy. Some days I can deal with the posts, and some days I can't.

I agree with whistleblower that all posts are helpful. Sometimes you have to look hard at the ones that either trigger you or that you disagree with, but I believe there is something to be gained from all voices and that gain is coming to understand and know yourself better.

Keep healing.
