No...I needed someone a few hours ago...but I've already came up with my own solution since then. I'm going to go to sleep. I feel better now that I've figured things. Maybe tomorrow morning I'll feel differently. Thankyou for trying to reach out to me :-)

Thankyou all for your support and kindness. I feel embarassed about this now. But I really am appreciative. I don't know what to do though...I'm in the military, so if I open up to my therapist about having suicidal thoughts it can trigger a wave of negative events. and if the military finds out I've been suffering from this before I joined I can lose all of my benefits. I hate myself.

Don't be embarrassed. You needed help and you reached out. That's a good thing. Keep reaching though. Find people who can support you. You're anonymous here so you are safe to share what you need to. I hope you have someone close by that you can turn to. Please never give up. You give him all the power and the world would lose someone wonderful.

I have told therapists and doctors about suicidal ideation before. As long as they know you aren't going to act on it, I think it's safe to tell them.

If you are thinking you are going to act on it, then keep reaching out to safe places for support.
