Impotence & Erectile Dysfunction Support Group
Erectile dysfunction or impotence is a sexual dysfunction characterized by the inability to develop or maintain an erection of the penis for satisfactory sexual intercourse regardless of the capability of ejaculation. There are various underlying causes, such as diabetes, many of which are medically reversible. The causes may be physiological or psychological.
Ok this is what I am looking at. I went to a seminar on ED and the outlook was very dim and pretty much hopeless as far as a cure. As for the pills they are pretty much hopeless as well. He pretty much suggested that if I have tried all the other methods then the only thing left is a penile implant. That is what I am looking into. I've been dealing with ED for more than 5 years with no help from my wife.
Your only recourse may be a penile implant.
My second question how would your wife feel if she had a double mastectomy and you refused to look at her. I understand the frustration but as a wife her support makes a great deal of difference in the relationship. This is not something to say to your wife but it falls in the same category of support. My wife participates reluctantly but for now things aren't so bad.
It sounds like you’ve worked with your doctors and explored the options, with no results. Nobody on this forum is going to be able to tell you anything specific about your condition. So let me suggest two paths:
(1) Consider a penile implant. Although it sounds scary, implants have the highest patient (and partner) satisfaction of ANY treatment... over 90%. Most men who’ve gotten an implant say they wish they had done it sooner. Surpriginly, implants are often covered by insurance.

(2) Talk with your wife about your sexual relationship. Not to be indelicate, but penetrative sex is far from the only option, and many men with severe ED still have satisfying sexual relationships with their partner. This article might be a good start:
