Hysterectomy Support Group
A hysterectomy is the surgical removal of the uterus, usually done by a gynecologist. Hysterectomy may be total (removing the body and cervix of the uterus) or partial (also called supra-cervical). Although there are conservative alternatives, hysterectomy is performed for uterine fibroids, pelvic pain, pelvic relaxation, heavy or abnormal menstrual bleeding, and cancer.
Since you're so young, are you having your hyst for endo despite there being no guarantee it will keep it at bay? I had one at age 49 7 years ago and it's been a heck of a struggle.
I've had several abnormal paps and biopsies, including colposcopy. Sex is almost always painful anymore. Meds don't help. My internal stuff is always hurting, including in my lower back. Its hard to poop or even pass gas. I do have the endo, but mainly I just want to be done with it all.

I'm going to ahead and call my Dr since I have bloody pus coming out of my incision site now.
