Hysterectomy Support Group
A hysterectomy is the surgical removal of the uterus, usually done by a gynecologist. Hysterectomy may be total (removing the body and cervix of the uterus) or partial (also called supra-cervical). Although there are conservative alternatives, hysterectomy is performed for uterine fibroids, pelvic pain, pelvic relaxation, heavy or abnormal menstrual bleeding, and cancer.
I can see how you would feel sad and empty..you had no time to prepare for the surgury you had no time to mentally prepare.
Take things one day at atime, focus on your beautiful baby and children. We are here when you need to talk.
Praying for you.
I have been having some female issues and went to my GP today, he is referring me to the hospital and the surgeon who carried out my Hysterectomy, so a wait and see what it is and what they do.
Take care.
