It's probably hormonal. As long as your retained ovaries are working, you're ovulating and have the associated hormonal changes.

My sister had a hysterectomy,( kept ovaries) and she said she still had discharge.
You could always have your Dr. take a look at it to make sure it's normal and not a sign of anything else.

Do you still have cervix? I understood you would not have monthly discharge (blood?) if cervix was removed. Maybe you have some cervical tissue left?

Are you talking about bloody discharge or other discharge? You should only bleed if you have a uterus because it is the lining that is shed.

Wrong. When the cervix is left you can have a "mini period".

besler - you weren't clear on your original post. MONTHLY discharge could have meant that there was some blood. It didn't occur to me to ask if you have your cervix. And, yes, when there is any cervical tissue left, you can have some spotting and even a mini-period. But obviously you've now set the record straight so my original answer prevails - it's likely hormonal.

I think there is a distinct difference between discharge and menstruation plus its not as much about how often someone is on here its about being rude for no reason especially if your wrong I must not have been too unclear because some ppl figured out what I was talking about. Besides I wasn't even asking what it was its obvious its hormonal I asked if anyone else experienced it.
