Hysterectomy Support Group
A hysterectomy is the surgical removal of the uterus, usually done by a gynecologist. Hysterectomy may be total (removing the body and cervix of the uterus) or partial (also called supra-cervical). Although there are conservative alternatives, hysterectomy is performed for uterine fibroids, pelvic pain, pelvic relaxation, heavy or abnormal menstrual bleeding, and cancer.
The only thing I can think or is adhesions but it is too soon for that. I had a hernia about 6 months along but it was fine inside. Just my scar popped thru when I lifted too much.
Best thing right now is get plenty of fluids like you are but don't forget to get nutrition as well in the liquid form. I take aloe vera capsules every day for diverticulous. It helps greatly. I get it at Walmart . Also GNC has it. I don't know if the UK has these stores or not. But you may be able to find the aloe vera at a health food place. When I have trouble, I take 2 at 3 times a day for a day or two then taper off. They seem to reset my bowels and take any infection away. Healing vitamin.
Keep us posted on your progress. I check to see how you are doing every couple of days.
Take care
Mary
