Anyone have experience with just slightly low thyroid function? Did you treat it? What has been your result? Thanks.
If "slightly low thyroid function" is your doctor's terms for "normal" (aka in-range) levels that aren't necessarily appropriate, you would benefit from treatment.
Not only can hypothyroidism cause all kinds of horrible symptoms, it can also cause many things "behind the scenes" such as cardiac issues, digestive issues, neurological issues, bone metabolism issues and more.
I had "normal" (aka in-range) thyroid labs yet suffered with over 20 symptoms.
Now that my levels have been optimized, I am free from symptoms.
