Hello everyone,
I went to my Endocrinologist a few weeks back, and she saw the lipids were all flagged out of range. (I posted all my blood test results here so I could help understand them.) I had also had taken a blood test the same day for my Primary dr., who also tested my GSH, and T3's, and 4's., and lipids. Now, the problem is, that my primary told me that my Endo should be addressing the lipid problem, and the nurse for my Endo just told me my Primary dr. is the one who should be managing them. Plus, my primary said "just take 4 Fish oil pills a day, instead of 1". Didnn't prescribe anything.
I saw on the news, just last week, where they're not even sure if fish oil definitley helps the heart.. Can anyone tell me, who treats you for your lipids - if they're out of range? None of my Dr.'s seem concerned. ?! I saw my primary last week, and won't see him agian until February. The same goes for my Endo- she's testing ONLY my thyroid levels... I was mistaken that she was testing my lipids, when her nurse called me yesterday, and said only thyroid levels. I'm getting worried that ignoring this could be a problem later on, and possibly cause my arteries to get clogged. Perhaps I'm worrying too much?

I agree, they both ordered thyroid and lipid tests. But I'll call my primary and let him know my Endo is NOT repeating the lipids next week, only the thyorid tests. Just to see what he says. At my visit, he said my levels weren't that high, but I'll repost them, as you suggested. Hopefully someone will have some helpful information.
