Tired in Afternoon hours

I got up at 530 today and felt fair and went and ate breakfast and didn't feel too bad i cleaned out my storage bin and then went over to the gym and did 25 mins of bike, and 5 weight exercises. I did not push it but lasted about 1 hour. after going home i had some tomato soup and rested however the rest of the day i felt extremely tired and weak just did not feel well. Did anyone ever have this happen to them thanks for answering

I don't think you ate enough after your workout. You need to refuel after exercise with protein and carbs.

Are you on T3? If you take it all at once, its benefit peaks in the morning and by 3:00, you get like a ragdoll...

I am going to go back to cutting the cytomel pill in half and taking the second half around 2:00pm.

Thanks for the info Mariposa! I recently got lazy and started taking all my armour at once....by 2pm, I couldn't move. Time to set all the alarms again to remind me to take the other 1/2 of my armour at 1pm. Ugh.

Sounds about like me. Not much energy. Do a little bit and wore totally out for the rest of the day. Pulse at rest 60. One good thing more meds, will feel better. Take it easy on yourself.

Yup! I am lazy too & started taking the dayum pill all at once. Hate that silly little pill cutter and consequently I always FORGET to take the other half....

My doctor is now looking for a compounding pharmacy so I can have delightful cytomel ALL DAYYYY LOOOONG in a time-release pill.

Will let you know how it works out, I promise.

i am glad to have some good answers from the group i do however not take T3 i am only on 88 which i take in the morning. I sleep fair however wake up feeling somewhat shitty(excuse language) but go to diner where i meet friends and eat good breakfast and feel a little better but in afternoon around 4 i start to feel tired and down i do have some head pressure well that is my story.

Have you had your Free T3 and Free T4 tested lately? If not, maybe it's time to do so? You might need an increase in your medication. (synthroid only).

thanks butterfly i called the doctors office this afternoon and told them how i feel and it was his assistant so they will contact me on monday but like today i went to breakfast and then came home did a few things then went to gym and did about 1 hours work on bike and some weights not a lot and came home and hour later ate a turkey sandwhich but felt very tired worn like. I am in philly and it is hot humid and they had a heat warning out so i stayed in today. But very tired this last week i guess you could say

Mbutterfly i had my blood drawn today for thyroid will get results next week probably I played golf today and throughout the day till around 4 i felt ok but then a wall fatigue and weak feeling and I hate that feeling . I will let you know what the results of the test are.
