Yes - it is common to have "palps" with thyroid medication. Do you have a good relationship with your doctor?

Here's some info for ya. I'm not sure what "other health issues" you may have, so absolutely discuss with your doctor....

However, crushing anxiety goes hand in hand with hypothyroidism itself. So, sometimes it's difficult to tell if you have too much medication (usually a hyper reaction more than anxiety) or too little (usually crushing anxiety and sometimes depression - described as "disconnected"). The only way to truly tell is to get thyroid tests - Free T3 and Free T4 to be exact and come on back and post 'em here. We'll be glad to help you.

THE most common complaint right after "tired" is "anxiety" with hypothyroidism.

That is like a lifetime ago in Thyroid Years.... Things can change very rapidly.

Yeah, those labs are OLD, so you should get some done asap.

However, it's not likely that your thyroid has improved in as many months UNLESS you've increased your thyroid med dosage. IF YOU HAVE NOT INCREASED THE DOSAGE then proceed with this advice:

You're TSH is SCREAMING that you're still hypo - that's likely the cause of the anxiety and the heart palpitations.
Your Free T4 is very low at 60% of range
Your Free T3 is even lower 28% of range (this would explain your high Reverse T3 as well).

These labs tell me two things:
You're not on enough thyroid medication
You're not on enough thyroid medication to actually convert T4 to T3

So, you absolutely need an increase.

Now, if you've ALREADY upped your dosage since you had those labs done IGNORE everything I just said.

PS Mariposa: CD is doing quite well. I spoke to her not long ago. I miss her on the forums, but her life is quite busy. She's much better at the hand holding that I am. I'm more of an "analytical" "just the facts, ma'am" sort of person. It's just how I'm built.
But, I'm glad her words are stored so I can whip them out at just the right moment! :)
