Hypothyroidism Support Group
Hypothyroidism is the disease state caused by insufficient production of thyrohormone by the thyroid gland. There are several distinct causes for chronic hypothyroidism, the most common being Hashimoto's thyroiditis and hypothyroidism following radioiodine therapy for hyperthyroidism. Advanced hypothyroidism may cause severe complications, the most serious one of which is...
Thyroid hormone needs to be taken 2 hours after/1 hour before food/drink other than water.
Vitamin C helps with thyroid hormone absorption so it would be a good idea to take that at the same time as your Armour.
Your iron should be 4 hours away from thyroid hormone so dinnertime and/or nighttime dosing would work best for that.
The other vitamins can be safely taken whenever you'd like - just be consistent from day-to-day.......this is vital for success with all aspects of thyroid disease.
Best of luck to you moving forward!!!

I didn't see this mentioned, but DO NOT TAKE CALCIUM within 4 hours of meds! (Check your multi - it may have some calcium)
I wasn't aware of vitamin C helping thyroid hormone absorption, which Cd mentioned, so I will do that as well. :)
