After reading "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Thyroid Disease", I realized I'm inclined to agree with Dr. Christensen that compounded thyroid meds pose an increased risk.
Reason being: pharmacist error can be quite "dramatic" when you're talking micrograms of something.
To give you some idea.....1000 micrograms = 1 gram 28 grams = 1 ounce)
I have found my cell phone alarm works like a charm for my 2PM Cytomel dose.
In fact, I've used the alarm for times I needed to take other types of meds on a BID or TID basis.
