I am taking synthroid 112 mcg for hypothyroidism. My tsh is a little bit higher and the doc said we will keep a watch on it and to continue the same dose. I am now getting red dry rashes on my stomach. I was wondering if it is related to thyroid??
Hypo certainly causes dry skin, whether labs are good or not.
But you could also have contact dermatitis or some other issue...
Have you tried a good thick cream or some 1% hydrocortisone?
