I was put on 25mcg of synthroid 6 weeks after my hysterectomy in August. My TSH was 3.5 then. It went down to .78 after a few months and I starting getting hyper symtoms. My doctor took me off the synthroid 6 weeks ago and my TSH is .82.
I had a doctor tell me that's it's normal for your thyroid to get out of whack after a hysterectomy and then it will fall back into place. I'm wondering I'd that's the case in my situation.
My doctor is one that doesn't test T3 and T4. I've been exhausted lately but I also have P.OT.S which can cause that. I'm guessing since my TSH is .82 without synthroid for 6 weeks that my thyroid is not current an issue?
