I am at the end of my fourth week of titration 37.5levoxyl and headed into the fifth week. I seem to be getting sicker as time goes on. Dizzy, nausea, bloat, horrible stomach, palps, and racing to the point where I need a beta block cause it doesn't stop. Just talked to the doc she wants me to get off of arm our completely and be on just levoxyl. She says I'm hyper due to tsh being less than 0.005. Seeing the new doc next week. Every doctor I talk to thinks I am hyper. I don't really understand since I have a lot of classic hypo symptoms and my tsh has been suppressed for along time. definately felt better on just the armour but still had residual issues. Don't kmow what to do and my daughter is getting married on Friday and I'm pretty sick. Any thoughts. I just got graves antibodies done. To cd what would I possibly do if they are elevated? Could this be the culprit? Thank u fran

Perhaps have your adrenals checked. A lot of symptoms overlap.

Hi and thanks for answering me. I acutally have an apt with dr. condren next tues. Can you tell me if he understands how to treat thyroid disease not weighing everything on TSH etc. My last labs were FT4 1.42 Range 0.82-1.77
FT3 3.4 Range 2.0-4.4
TSH less than 0.005

He doesn't rely on TSH. He will treat you based on your symptoms. It looks like you could use an increase so he'll probably give you one.

So happy to hear you'll be seeing the new doctor! Based upon what's been reported here, he sounds really good.

Elevated Graves' antibodies would provide confirmation to any Graves'-savvy doctor the reason why your TSH is suppressed.

I met my current doctor 5 years ago and she told me the magic words I needed to hear: "We know to ignore TSH in Graves'".

She's made comments about my TSH along the way that alarmed me and I sometimes reminded her about my antibodies :)

The most recent comment was something along the lines about the "strange reaction" my TSH has lol

She dropped the ball, unfortunately, with two Hashi's patients I referred to her.

I am so jaded from my experiences with doctors practicing (vs. treating) thyroid that I know I'd be emphasizing the stereo-typical hypo symptoms I've had if I ever had to meet a new doctor.
