Okay, had the TT over a year ago, been trying to conceive for a year. TSH has been non existant. ft3 just under mid range ft4 upper end of range for awhile. Well, decided to try naturethroid to get the t3 and do started me on 1/2 grain (was on 100mcg synthroid before) I knew it was too low a dose, but figured we'd just up it when the 6 weeks came around. 6 weeks came around, TSH was 38! t3 was bottom of range t4 a couple tenths under range. OB doubled my naturethroid dose to 1 grain. A few days later my period doesn't come so I take a urine pregnancy test and surprisingly its POSITIVE! Really? wow. OB was worried it might be a false positive, that it might be picking up the super high tsh level since they're similar. So, I went in MOnday to check hcg level and redo tsh and t4. GOt the results today and hcg is over 700 (pretty darn high this early) tsh down to 30, but t4 went down one tenth more, so now its .3 below the range.

Now of course I'm freaking out that I'm pregnant and going to destroy this baby because my tsh is so darn high and my frees are so low. I know our requirement for replacement goes up when pregnant, but I've just doubled the dose 9 days ago from what I was taking. We're rechecking tsh ft4 and hcg on Monday and I'm thinking I will probably up it a little more. Wondering though, if my equivalent dose was 1grain and now I'm pregnant I need more, how much more I should take. 1 1/4? or just take a couple extra pills each week?

I'm excited, but trying not to be since I don't know if this pregnancy is even sustainable at this point. freaking out!!
