Since you've been on levo for months, I doubt you're having an allergic reaction to the fillers or binders.
There's a chance your thyroid levels are off.....and, if you're taking/using any form of estrogen, this can affect thyroid levels as well.
Each manufacturer uses different fillers. Fillers affect absorption and different levels of absorption mean different levels of effectiveness.
This really would apply to T3 meds as well.
My doctor knows this and, when my pharmacist supplied my levo (T4) with Mylan brand for my very first Rx (and I did well with it), my doctor now writes "Mylan brand only" on each new Rx.
I got Paddock Labs brand T3 the first time (and I did well with it) so my doctor now writes "Paddock brand only" on new Rx's for my T3.
I'm concerned about Lupin they make my cholesterol med (simvastatin). I have to look them up.
