11/12 Results AFTER levoxyl decrease of 6.25mg on 10/29 or TWO weeks on lower dosage
I'm listing your labs in the following order (Name of Lab, Range Low-High, Result, Percent of Range)
Free T4 0.820 -1.770 1.590 81.05%
Free T3 2.000 -4.400 3.400 58.33%
10/29 Results AFTER raising levoxyl 6.25 on 9/14 or approx 6 weeks after raising the dosage
Free T4 0.820 -1.770 1.930 116.84%
Free T3 2.000 -4.400 3.700 70.83%
After 10/29 you lost me... on 9/14 labs you said "Raised levoxyl back up 6.25 due to hypo symptoms and stayed on this dose till today."
So, I'm going to focus only on the last two lab results, K?
The short answer to your question is this:
Whether or not you have hashi's - one thing is common in MOST hypothyroid patients - when fall comes, we take a dip in our levels. Most of us need an adjustment for that (increase in meds). So, that could be it - combined with your previous slight decrease in meds.
It's incredible how much a tiny dosage adjustment can affect us, huh?
Now, if you have Hashi's LOTS of things can cause it - basically anything that can trigger an auto-immune reaction - an infection, an allergy, etc.
So, make that adjustment and feel better, K?
Thanks for the response and sorry about the confusion. I have Graves but graves antibodies have been in check since 2012 to 2013. But I do have TPO antibodies as well. Last checked at 193 came down from 300's a year ago. So I am doing this dose adjustment up and I guess I can recheck in 3 to 4 weeks. I'm just not sure to date why palps have never gone away no matter where I am with blood. Sleeping not the greatest either but other symptoms doing better. Any ideas?
Thanks again,
Fran
However, when it comes to your heart...it's never wise to guess. If you haven't had a cardiac workup, you might ask for one if it's as troublesome as you say. I know they can be scary...I still get them from time to time even on my "optimal" dosage. it's usually brief, but just one of those symptoms I'm likely never going to get rid of completely.
