My endo office called. they are raising my dose to.224 mcg fron .200. I don't know wth i am going to do. I'm already experiencing bad enough symptoms on .200 :( i am sooo upset and scared.

Did the doctor check your adrenals before putting you on thyroid medicine? I know some doctors do not do this.

It clearly states with the prescribing information that adrenals must be tested before starting the medication.

I know this is hard to understand....especially when you feel like you're about to burst out of your skin or want to crawl under the bed, but you can do this. And, in the end, you must do this if you want to get your thyroid under control.

We all go through this. Sometimes the symptoms get worse before they get better....especially in the early stages. How long have you been on meds total? Since what date?
One thing endo's are pretty good about testing is adrenal function. It's a good idea to ask.

I will call and ask about the adrenal test. I have been on thyroid medssince 2003.
