Hello everyone, I haven't been active for a while because I got tired of dealing with EVERYTHING. I finally went back to the doctor and I still need more synthroid. Im on 175mcg and it's increasing to 200mcg. Im only 25 and I am still cold all of the time, swelling like crazy and tired all of the time. I was wondering if anyone here has adrenal problems? my doctor wants me to get a CT scan and ultrasound of adrenal grands. I'm a tired, poor, student. Please give a little help.
Tell your doctor of your financial situation and ask him do you need to have these tests done now or could they wait, and how having them done will get you closer to feeling better. You and your doctor are a team when it comes to your healthcare. Keep in mind that he has thousands of other patients and will probably not remember you or the reason he ordered those particular tests, so you'll have to remind him of everything. Good luck dear.
